Only time!

This will be the ONLY time these four kids will be in school at the same time! 6th, 4th, 2nd and Kindergarten! Mornings are crazy getting them all out the door at the same time. Its exhausting. Maybe some arguing happens. Often, I love sending them out the door and love even more welcoming them home at the end of the day!
4x everything-homework, fundraising, Box Tops collecting. Thankful flyers come via email now so we don't get 4x those papers coming home!

Field trip

Fifth graders have the chance to go on a field trip to the Utah Symphony. My fifth grader was going, and I made room in the schedule to go! Completely enjoyable! Bus ride, symphony, bus ride back to the school then lunch in the classroom. Enjoyable! Thankful I could go! (Even more surprising, we saw a few other fifth grade friends there too! Amazing considering there were hundreds of school students filling Abravanel Hall).

Super Quick & Super Big & Super Cool post

Highlights from post Memorial Day to today-more to come.....I hope......

Grandpa Jack joined me at Antelope Island for a field trip for Ashley's class. Ashley's fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Thayne retired at the end of this school year, and this was one last going away party for her. I supplied the grill to cook the hot dogs. Ashley INSISTED we do it! It was a fun trip out there. Windy! Seagulls! But it was good!

Only a 100+ hot dogs were consumed by the two 4th grade classes and families/chaperone's that were there! Good thing we had the grill!

Sophie & B had a good time too.

Charlie graduated Kindergarten! We are excited for the new adventures and challenges first grade will hold!! Good Luck Charlie~

Free Fish Day.....well, Free (trying to go Fishing) Day.
The A family invited us to join them at the Bountiful Pond to try fishing. NOTHING caught, but cute pictures!

Summer begins with summer school lunch at Washington Elementary and a stop at the playground!

Then Ragnar-few photo highlights!

Jimmy's Great Aunt Mary passed away on June 25th. We love Aunt Mary so much and miss her! We each have special memories with her, and miss her dearly! Here is a really good picture of Jimmy and the kids at the cemetery.

Made it to Eaglewood for fireworks. It gets easier to do things as the kids get older.....like walking to fireworks with no stroller, diaper bag, etc.

Backyard fun.

and TODAY a trip to City Creek.

School Pictures

This year we ordered a digital copy of the kids' school pictures, so now I have the copyright, and I can have printed what I like and as much as I like. Here are the kids' school pictures.
(I think this is perfect! beautiful Ashley!)

(okay-She looks really little here. Yes, Sarah is small, but not really a good pose, but still a good smile & pretty girl)

(ahh! Take off your jacket please!! But a good picture-handsome boy!)

Who wants a picture?
Maybe I should have taken sophie in for her picture too.....oh well.

Catch-up: End of School year

Charlie graduated preschool this year. He will start kindergarten in the fall! Here he is with his buddy Sam.
The girls came home from school with a treat from the crossing guard lady, and a bookbag full of papers, report cards, projects, pencil boxes, and fun memories. Sarah is READY for 2nd grade, and Ashley will conquer 4th grade.
