Fish Lake is one of Utah's most beautiful mountain lakes. This beautiful mountain lake offers welcome cool temperatures while most of southern Utah is sweltering in summer heat. It is located in Central Utah, southeast of I-70 & Salina.
Jimmy & I are not fishing people, but love any chance to get away with family. Fish Lake is really a beautiful area! We will be camping in our trailer-(only way with an infant huh?) We will be with Jimmy's siblings, aunts/uncles, cousins, and his maternal grandparents. Pictures will come!
Then August 3rd, we've been invited to go to Lake Powell with some of my family. so ANYONE OUT THERE with TIPS or SUGGESTIONS for Lake Powell with children, please post a comment! ahh, to waterski and wakeboard! and sore muscles and working on the tan! ahh!

My only suggestion is DON'T sleep on a houseboat. You won't sleep b/c you'll be up worrying that your kids are going to wander off. Enjoy your vacation. It sounds like a lot of fun.

You are a brave woman going to lake powell! ever since i had the boys i hate water it scares me even if you can see the bottom.
Hey - so we went to Mueller Park last night and roasted a hot dog. When we were getting ready to go Mitchell asked who was coming with us and I told him that just our family was going. He told me that was no fun and that I probably should call Marla and invite her because she was lots of fun. :) Good luck with the Lake Powell trip - Matt's parents have a time share there and we haven't gone since we have had kids - too scary for me!
Have all the kids wear life jackets if they want to be in the water regardless of how deep it is. Lots of drinks, and take hikes up the slot canyons to get out of the heat of the day. I'm jealous it sounds like so much fun!
