FAMILY Pictures~FINALLY!

We finally got together to have family pictures! Thanks to Sherri we have some good looking family pictures! Very happy with how the pictures turned out. When I look at the expressions on my kids' faces, I laugh. I wonder what they are thinking, but yet, know what they are thinking. I have seen those expressions many times! Their eyes and faces tell you so much about them! Fun colors, pretty back drop in the International Peace Gardens in Salt Lake. Just a few.....Its hard to choose, love them all!

Gonna Miss Her!

I remember holding this little girl, walking around my grandparents house getting her to sleep. I babysat her many times. She has grown up so beautifully. I ran races with her, camped with her, laughed with her, cheered her on in marching band! Sister Charlotte Gatrell is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Riverside, California get ready! I love my little cousin Charlotte! She is a great, strong example to me, and I wish her 18 months of fun, hard work!

Happy Birthday Sarah

After one fun away gymnastics meet in Washington, we took advantage of Sarah's birthday to celebrate doing something NEW! We braved Utah County and headed to the Marriott Center for a BYU vs. Utah gymnastics meet. One other team was there, NC State, who wasn't ranked. Utah was ranked no 6 in the country and BYU was in the top 25, I think. Anyways-Ugg to Utah county+ traffic.
TWO cute BYU co-eds joined us, Jimmy's niece Lyndze and my cousin Charlotte meet us at the meet. It was fun to go to another away meet and sit in seats with a different perspective than our seats in the Huntsman Center. BYU did do a good job hosting the meet. My legs hurt from the lack of LEG ROOM of the seats in the Marriott Center. Utah did really well at the meet, which they needed a decent score on the road. Utah got the win! Duh! Of course!

Happy Birthday Sarah. Oh, yeah charlie was about B-O-R-E-D at the meet. Sorry brother!

Seattle 2013

The Burns family drove up to Lake Stevens, WA (1 hr north of Seattle)! Fun road trip! It was a good experience! We were happy to see family, enjoy the sights of Seattle, and see cousin Taylor, who will be serving an LDS mission to Oklahoma!
Here are a few of the highlights!

Happy Anniversary

In August, we woke up early to celebrate our anniversary as a family! 12 Years!
These handsome boys & their parents meet us for a tour of the Brigham City Temple Open House-see official details HERE.
We enjoyed the tour, with the kids being spread out between 6 adults and 2 teenagers. The temple is a beautiful place. The kids liked the chandeliers, and cookies at the end of the tour. I liked the little peach details through-out the temple, the colors, and the materials used to decorate the interior. The temple had original artwork of the valley of Box Elder and Cache County. The temple and temple grounds were small, but perfect!

My parents joined us, thanks to the Dixons having extra tickets!

It was the perfect place to spend our anniversary at a temple, where our marriage began.
