For Spring Break we enjoyed staying in Newport Beach, California. I had not been able to get a work out in for a few days & I was getting a little grumpy. I got out on Friday for a run. I needed to. I heard it was snowing at home! I had to soak up the sun & enjoy the view of the beach.
I went down the hill from the condos we were staying at & took these pix on my run.
I loved exploring. I loved the beach. I loved it. I came back 4 miles later & much happier!

100,000
Spring break 2012 was a road trip to California. We drove down & on the drive home our surburban hit the 100,000 mile mark in Barstow, Ca. Our green machine is a 2003. We bought it in 2006 with 36,000 miles before Charlie-kid #3. We love the leather seats, captain chairs, Dvd player & the room it gives us. Yes-a blog post talking about my vehicle!

Papa's Date
On a road trip, we stopped for dinner. Sophie ended up sitting with Grandpa Burns. She enjoyed his french fries. It was just cute to have those two together at the table.

Happy Valentines Day
The girls took store bought ones to school. I let them address their own valentines this year. By the end of the evening, we had valentines addressed to EVERYONE-cousins, family members, aunts & uncles, grandparents, friends, primary teachers, the bishop, etc. It was a little crazy. We didn't get them ALL handed out, but the ones we handed out were appreciative.
