Spring Sports

Jimmy & I love our kids! We want them to be healthy, active, and learn life lessons from playing team sports. Spring time is full of uncertain weather and spring sports! It was super busy with Ashley & Sarah playing soccer and Charlie doing T-ball. LUCKY we didn't have games conflict-well maybe a few, but each kid had their own night of their own sport. The camping chairs, blankets, & jackets had their special place in the back of the suburban. Uniforms & shoes to keep track of-grr sometimes..... And now it is almost all over-we SURVIVED! The kids do SO well by the end of the season-they make improvements! What else can we ask for?  I love seeing their progress and hard work all coming together but also having fun and making new friends.
Here are pix from the season & lots of silly sideline pictures!

Spring Sing

Let it be remembered that Sarah had an awesome first grade teacher & an amazing school year. My Sarah works so hard, and learned SO much. Wow.
The first grade students put on an awesome Spring Sing with lots of songs, and poems. It was just cute! They learned the songs, made the decorations that were taped to the walls, but they were learning about fun science things too. Learning made fun!  I am pretty sure Sarah's teacher heads it all up=AMAZING Mrs. Z. There are 3 first grade classes up there (btw-I love this school is pretty small. only three 1st grade classes. really-thats nice if you have ever been at a BIG school.)
Jimmy is always great to leave work and come support the kids & see their programs. He was happy to be there....See it on the picture below!

Our happy first grader with her post-performance cookie!

Spring Fever at the parks

I am so happy when the season changes and it gets warm outside. I love when the kids & I can spend the afternoons outside. We hit up a few parks as SPRING FEVER was setting in!

Different day but same jacket for Sophie....
 Park+swings=UNDERDOG mom! again. again.

Do you notice her shirt is on backwards? I think it was wacky day at school or something.....

Lost in Space at the Library

We really love the library. (yes even if I did just pay $8 in fines to the library)
It is about half a mile from our house. The library has good, fun, family friendly, free events. In March the library had their big event, LOST IN SPACE. There were lots of activities for the kids to do.

Here they re-used recyclable products to make spaceships.

A visit from Darth Vader
A space movie

Paper plane making

Space walk (with sponges on feet & obstacles to go around)

We even brought along a neighbor to enjoy the fun!
