Summer is the BEST!
Some of my family ran in the Farmington Festival Days 5K race back in July. Jimmy & Sarah signed up to do it, along with one of my brothers, my neice, and some cousins & uncles. Sarah ran the race with her dad and YES-Sarah ran just about the WHOLE 3.02 miles! Good job Sarah! One of my uncles got a medal for placing third overall (I think). Next year-I'll be ready to run it!
I love parades! Sophie & I joined up with the family & attended the Farmington Festival Days Parade. I tried to take it easy, keeping an eye on Sophie while Jimmy kept our kids in line. We enjoyed the parade with lots of my cousins, my parents, and some friends! GOOD times!

I wanted to get out of the house so I went up to my parents house in Kaysville. We were going to feed the ducks. Sophie stayed with my parents while the kids borrowed Nana & Papa's bikes and we rode our bikes to the pond. It was a lot of fun being with my kids exploring the pond area. The ducks weren't that hungry and it was a warm day, but we still had fun and we will do it again! (notice my shadow picture-I was there! This was picture was inspired by my cousin! FLINT!)

I love my neighborhood & neighbors. One Monday night, two of my neighbors came over and we sat on a blanket in my driveway painting toe nails! Charlie & his friend Tyler wanted their nails painted too, so they got a coat of glitter nail polish. It was a fun evening! It must have looked funny to cars passing by, seeing a group of women, teenagers and kids painting nails! Oh well! I loved it!
